Li Wei Artistic Pictures

Li Wei is an awesome artist whose pictures are so cool.

Chinese artist Li Wei has produced an unsettling series of self-portraits involving his face reflected in mirrors in public places, and photographs of himself crashing into walls and sidewalks.
His work is a mixture of performance art and photography that creates illusions of a sometimes dangerous reality.
Chinese artist Li Wei from Beijing started off his performance series ‘Mirroring’ and later on took off attention with his ‘Falls’ series which shows the artist with his head and chest embedded into the ground.
His work is a mixture of performance art and photography that creates illusions of a sometimes dangerous reality. Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages and works with the help of props such as mirror, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics.

Dangling horizontally out of a skyscraper, this hovering figure looks set to fall to his doom. But this 'jumper' hasn't just lost it all on a game of chance - this is performance art with a difference.

He has features in newspapers such as Daily Mail and Guardian in the UK plus newspapers around the world.

Peugeot 4002 - A Very Cool Concept Car

Peugeot held a competition for aspiring automotive designers and here are some of their cool designs for the Peugeot 4002.

The brief was as follows: “Delve into the history of the Peugeot brand and imagine the vehicle that Peugeot could evolve into in the coming years – a vehicle replete with stylistic references to classic Peugeot models of the past.”

The winner was the talented Stephen Schulze of Germany and his stunning 4002 design.

One of the most creative car design concepts in decades, the organically-shaped 4002 is both futuristic as well as replete with styling cues from Peugeots of the past, such as the headlights behind the radiator grille that was seen in the Peugeot 402 of the 1930s.

Though the 4002 is too extreme a design to anticipate any plans for production in the short-term, it may well be an impetus for future exciting cars from one of Europe's oldest and most successful car manufacturers.
