iChange - iPhone Gadget Concept Car

This cool iChange car by Ringspeed is a gadget lovers dream! If you’re the type who might forget your keys but not your iPhone, Swiss car design maker Rinspeed is rolling out a cool concept car for you.



Called iChange, it features a no-key ignition that starts via an iPhone. The device clips onto the dash, once the phone is inserted, a green “start” button appears on the iPhone’s display. With a touch of a button, the iChange purrs to life. From the iPhone, drivers can also control stuff like headlights, too.

But the name iChange isn’t limited to the iPhone ignition. The car also adapts to the number of passengers: “In seconds a streamlined one-seater sports car transforms into a comfortable car with ample room for three. The trick: At the push of a button, the rear end of the teardrop-shaped car magically pops up.” More details, pictures and video on the Ringspeed website.

Greenpeace target VW in spoof Star Wars deathstar ad

Check out this cool star wars advert from Greenpeace against VW's environmental record with a spoof of the car brand's award-winning 'Darth Vader' ad, featuring a VW-branded Death Star.


The Greenpeace online ad urges viewers to "join the rebellion", using a young cast of 'Star Wars' fans who challenge the VW’s mini Darth Vader. Darth Vader’s nemesis, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and his followers, use their lightsabers to terminate a VW-branded "death star" and the mini Darth Vader.

The ad will be distributed online in more than 14 countries, including China, Canada, US, UK, Germany and France. It aims to highlight VW’s poor environmental record.

The ad will also be supported by outdoor activity.

The original ad, created by Deutsch, has attracted more than 40 million YouTube views since it was previewed online, the week before it was shown in the half-time ad break during this year’s Super Bowl in February. Last week, the ad won a Gold Film Lion at Cannes.
